Beauty parlor

The beauty and care category of a person is considered to be resistant to inflation. This is because the major drivers of shopper modification in this category are perceived as product performance, the quality of ingredients, and the emotional needs that these products bring, not just the price. This explains why, despite growing inflationary pressures, this category registers annual growth. In 2017, market size and personal care were estimated at $ 455.3 billion, with an expected annual growth rate of 5.9% (CAGR) by 2025 and appear to be the best business ideas in Pakistan, and rank the top 10 business ideas, most profitable business Pakistan.

In context, when Aurora last covered the stage in 2011, beauty and personal care was a $ 382 billion business, meaning pie size increased by about 19% over the past seven years, with emerging markets in the Asia Pacific region leading the way business ideas Pakistan, top 10 business ideas. Analysts at Euromonitor have identified the emergence of young, urban dwellers with increasing wasteful spending, growing aspirations for attractive looks, increasing the number of working women, and greater product selection (and availability given e-commerce growth) as drivers responsible for the development of the business ideas Pakistan, top 10 business ideas and beauty industry in the region. While China and India are highly profitable markets, given the number of people and changing lifestyles, attracting huge investments from international beauty companies and human care companies, the Pakistani market often does not receive the attention it deserves, simply because of a lack of official revenue figures.

As is the case with many ‘poorly regulated, high-value’ industries in Pakistan (think houses and land), the lack of documentation, coupled with the presence of large informal and gray segments, makes it difficult to find business ideas in Pakistan, top 10 business ideas real beauty and a personal care market. According to Euromonitor and other reports submitted by market research companies, the ballpark value for domestic market value is $ 1.7 billion, with an annual growth rate elsewhere around the 15% mark. The humanitarian companies and industry experts Aurora spoke to on the matter were of the opinion that the figure was underestimated, with the simple reason that legal production and import only accounted for about 20% of real business.

The question of whether the increase in competition from local players would be detrimental to global brands was met with an emphatic “no.” As Salar Farooki, Marketing Director, L’Oreal Pakistan, puts it, “the influx of more local players can only create awareness and provide more options for consumers. In Pakistan, the inclusion of many formats in the field of beauty is still very small, and therefore, there is a lot of space for all kinds of domestic and foreign brands to design a place in geographies, price points, and suggestions. “

Despite the inconsistencies, the growing positions of personal care and beauty products in Pakistan are proof enough of the great market power the country has to offer. Traditionally, Pakistan’s beauty market has been largely dominated by international competitors – Colgate Palmolive, Johnson & Johnson, P&G and Unilever, and L’Oreal and Reckitt Benckiser (RB) entrants. Self-restraint against these bullies, though with a small but reliable consumer base, are signs of values, including Hashmi, Kala Kola, Medora, Saeed Ghani, and Tibet, to name a few. An exciting development in the competitive environment has been the introduction of a wide range of personal care and beauty products. J. Cosmetics and Fragrances is perhaps the most notable, with offerings providing a trifecta of performance, quality and diversity, to date, have been exclusively specialized in global products.

Pharaoh’s hopes were well-founded. In addition to the limited (world) low penetration of personal care, Pakistan is home to a population of 57% of whom are young and the country’s 23-year-old, the most influential in terms of spending and spending. They are giving more impetus to improved lifestyles, which leads to a change in consumer preferences. According to The Economic Survey of Pakistan 2017-18, the rising rate of urbanization combined with rising revenues (mainly due to the increased contribution of women to work) has created a strong need for high-quality personal care solutions.

Unsurprisingly, but equally important, is how internet penetration and smartphone growth affect consumer awareness and product demand. Humayun Farooq, Director of Marketing, RB Health, sums up the fact that access to technology and media is a reconstruction of the sector. “With more exposure and awareness, of international aesthetic ways to spend money on personal care needs has increased, as has the need for products that meet high-quality needs.”

Farooki dismisses this notion and adds that as digital has made the details available everywhere, the tension of the movement of beauty trends from the earth to places to remote areas within Pakistan is almost over. It cites an expanded online order for premium products from second- and third-tier cities, which often lacks the physical sales of top-notch bridges.

1. Meaningful beauty

In the 2017-October issue of Aurora on Brand Activism, an online dipstick survey revealed that Millennials want to support their underlying causes for the products they use and want to know if their purchasing decisions will benefit the public in reasonable ways. With more than 100 million consumers prioritizing activism, it is not surprising that the types of personal care in Pakistan have seen that recruiting young people, they have to offer more than performance and purchasing power. Asima Haq, Director, Personal Care, Unilever Pakistan, is of the opinion that when brands talk to Millennials, they should know two things: Millennials are very effective when it comes to their beauty needs. They are driven by purpose and imagination to choose products that do good to the community and bring real value by solving problems that they see as important.

The case in point of the brand has changed its marketing relationship to include ‘beauty on purpose’ by RB’s Veet. Eight years ago, the brand pioneered ‘Veet Celebration of Beauty,’ an event launched by young beauticians and fashion designers, whose branch was the Miss Veet Super Model, a competition that gave young women aspiring to join the show business world a platform to showcase their talent. However, Farooq points out that it will soon be seen that the event has no major purpose for it. As one of the top beauty products in Pakistan, Vetet was looking for a perfect way to reach the open space of young women and make a difference in their lives. It was at this point that the Veet Academy program was launched as a goal-oriented competition where young women received training in developing various aspects of their personality – self-confidence, communication skills, beauty, stamina, and intelligence, the most successful young woman crowned Miss Veet Pakistan. . As Farooq puts it, “every form of RB is deliberately driven, and through the Veet, it is designed to give confidence to a Pakistani woman.” The move from Miss Veet Super Model to Miss Veet Pakistan marks a significant change in messaging for this brand. Veet still celebrates ‘beauty’; the difference is that the concept of beauty is no longer promoted as ‘deep in the skin.’

While ‘clean food’ and ‘fashion consciousness’ were last year’s buzz quotes, it is the ‘pure beauty’ movement that is creating chaos in 2018. Globally and in Pakistan, the talk is about going back to natural parts to solve skin and hair problems (two of the biggest components in personal care with consumer spending). Haq explains, “Pakistani women seek solutions for natural beauty because they have grown up with the knowledge of how herbs enhance beauty. Today’s consumer wants a certain profit (e.g., fairness) with natural resources. “

Another example of successful, purpose-driven work is the Lux Style Awards, a platform that has been developing young talent and appreciating the contributions of veterans in television, film, and fashion for the past 17 years. As Haq explains, “we do not sell soap anywhere. The aim is to honor celebrities who have excelled in their fields and provide people with entertainment while discovering the latest beauty and styles by watching this program. “The event has been so successful that it has led other countries, such as India, to launch similar events. With Unilever Pakistan, the Lux Style Awards served another basic purpose. With sanitizers, hand washing, and face gaining energy in urban areas, the event allows the brand to remain high quality, which is important because, within the skin of Pakistan, soap still accounts for a large share of revenue, and the category cannot be ignored.

The discussion of products that go beyond promoting features and benefits would not be complete without mentioning Pond’s Miracle Journey, an initiative that began in 2014, where women who excelled in various fields (business, education, social, business, communications, and exhibition) were identified and trained by successful women. Depending on the market share, Ponds may be one of the smallest Unilever products in Pakistan, but as consumer demand continues to emerge, especially in terms of use of anti-wrinkle products and anti-aging, it is important for the Pond to position itself as a platform, giving women a platform to showcase their talent. for consumers and product love.

2. Rising and rising natural

“This explains the recent launch of Fair & Lovely Herbal, which has been presented as a contrast to people who seek a natural solution to find flawless justice.

Along with the growing demand for natural people, is a growing niche of ‘halal beauty,’ identified as a key driver of the growth of global care companies. With nearly 300 million middle-class Muslim families worldwide, expected to grow to 900 million in just a few years, the interest in certified halal products is understandable. However, according to DinarStandard, strategic growth research and advisory firm focused on the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.

3. All in all

Within the skincare segment (expected to sit in the driver’s seat in relation to personal care), it is a multi-functional product category that has attracted significant investment, and for a good reason. As consumers enjoy a limited time because of their fast-paced lifestyle, people are looking for products that offer more benefits.

Leading the way for this diverse wave work are BB cream brands, of all shades and prices, shelves installed across Pakistani urban stores. Until a few years ago, BB creams, which coordinate skincare and cosmetics, were considered high-quality beauty products, and only a few imported, low-cost products, were available locally. Exciting developments have been the subsequent introduction of L’Oreal BB cream (under Garnier label) and Unilever as well as a wide range of home products, at affordable prices, allowing BB creams to enter the designated middle-class area. The multi-purpose practice is not limited to skincare. For hair (the second largest in terms of market share and price in Pakistan) and, it has become a widespread practice in the industry to introduce shampoos that promise not only ‘shiny, silky hair’ but additional benefits of anti-dandruff, anti-hair fall, and anti-graying, ‘all it’s in one bottle.

Real State

WITH cries of doubt about the economic performance of the coming year, investors have begun to worry about the best investment options available in 20120 business ideas Pakistan, top 10 business ideas, most profitable business Pakistan.

In 2018, gold shone as an investment option, a safe bet in risky times. Gold has a relationship with many other asset classes – a security group that behaves equally in the market – so that when stocks return is bad, and almost everything else in one digit, a 21.8 percent gain in gold ends up saving the dollar.

Investors in the greenback remain at a very high profit of 25.8pc due to a sharp decline in the value of the rupee. This, however, has been a single dollar as it has produced a double-digit return for the first time in 10 years with a final gain of 27.6pc during the 2008 global depression.

Dr. Khalid Mirza, chairman of the Security and Exchange Board, suggests that by 2020 security investors are likely to succeed because it is best business ideas Pakistan, top 10 business ideas, most profitable business Pakistan However, he cautions, by the winners, he is referring to those who invest their money using ‘technical’ shares and not ‘basic’ shares.

He believes that real estate can be a lucrative business if you invest in areas outside the metropolitan area and not in the center while securing a stable income shows nothing: “It’s the same as fighting inflation,” he said…

Syed Ali, head of research at  Global, made predictions on how the return on investment would play out in 20120: A stock market offering a return of around 20pc; National Saving Schemes (NSS), and government permits refund of 11.3pc. The bank account, which in 2018 received just 3.2pc, is likely to offer 9pc in 2019. The dollar can produce 6pc and 12pc gold.

According to the above, returns in all categories of assets – saved by gold and dollar – will improve, but the equity market will take a toll.

“The problems the stock market has been going through are no different. If we look back at all the times when the market is facing a major crisis, there is one thing that is immediately apparent: Those investors who enter these ‘entry points’ in the market cycle are the ones who cut the most, “he said. Haider.

He confirms that by 2020 for investors with a desire for risk in the return on financial markets is expected to be higher than that of any other asset class. For investors who are exposed to fixed income instruments, the financial market and government security are considered optional and the real state would be business ideas Pakistan, top 10 business ideas, most profitable business Pakistan

As an asset manager, Mr. Ali would not comment on mutual investments due to conflicts of interest but commended the Bonds for high-interest rates on high-value individuals and the NSS for risk-free, small, and investment investors.

Mr. Khan, chief executive, Next Capital, also ranks shares as a winner in 2019, which is expected to make a profit of 17.6pc. He believes that joint ventures can offer attractive returns: Stock Exchange 27.1pc; Income revenue 10.7pc and revenue market revenue 9.7pc.

Mr. Khan estimates return on bank savings accounts at 8.5pc; Defense Savings Certificates 12.2pc, one-year Treasury Debts for production of 10.9pc, and three years for Pakistani Investment Police (PIBs) 11.7 pc.

It is a small consolation that the Pakistani investor is not alone in their loss of wealth in 2018. The richest people in the world have lost $ 511 billion a year, according to Bloomberg, which described the fall of global trade crises and concerns about the US economic downturn.

“By 2019, the funds are seen as a viable investment destination, given that they have brought losses over the past two years (negative 20pc in 2017 and bad 24.9pc in 2018),” said Insight Securities chief executive Zubair Hussain…

The recurring economic turmoil in the financial markets is likely to subside as the economic situation improves with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) aid package (if it passes) and unforeseen inflation. This could allow the funds to go back.

Mr. Tariq, director of enterprise research and business development at Arif Habib Limited, responds: “For potential investors who are at risk, the best place to invest is in both investments as stocks currently trade at 7.6 times the pay (p / e), which is less than nine times p / e on average 14 years. “

For investors who do not prevent risk, he recommends a PIB yield at 13.08pc, where the return is guaranteed. And in the event that interest rates fall within a year or two, they may be able to make a profit out of pocket money.

Given the proceeds from the assistance provided by friendly countries (and possibly the IMF package), offensive oil prices could reduce trade deficit due to the collateral’s dollar investment. The rupee is expected to drop by 4-5pc going forward.

In terms of finances, many analysts have shifted the focus from investing in defense games to stocks of high growth value.

Many investment strategists will not bet on real estate due to legal and market risks, without fear of the sector is the main focus of the money-laundering investigation.

Employment in the housing market declined in 2018, as investor confidence declined due to the ban and subsequent lifting of restrictions on high-rise buildings in the Karachi and Bahria Town fiasco. But investor still think of  real state is best business ideas Pakistan, top 10 business ideas, most profitable business Pakistan

“An investor who invests in real estate puts himself at risk of being trapped, and it will be difficult for him to recover his money if the land becomes uncontrolled or attacked,” the analyst said.

Many knowledgeable investors consider it a blessing that the Pakistani market was immature with new and untested assets such as Bitcoins. The digital currency has proven to be the worst-performing asset class in the developed world as the bubble bursts, eroding investors’ wealth.

However, asset managers also lamented that the Pakistani investor had been forced to invest in the same category of assets over the past 50 years with no new investment options.

However, asset managers also lamented that the Pakistani investor had been forced to invest in the same category of assets over the past 50 years with no new investment options. “Is it any wonder that money, black and white, continue to be exported to countries with better and safer investment methods?”, He criticized.

Poultry farming

GREAT FOODS are deficient in calories and protein. The average man needs 70 grams of protein a day, and of that, 27.7 grams or about 40 percent, comes from an animal source. Pakistan is, like other developing countries, facing a shortage of protein. The average daily diet per person is 24.6 grams, of which 21 percent comes from an animal source. To meet demand, additional production must be produced for 1.5 million large and 3.5 million small animals, and 18 million birds.

Since this figure requires a lot of time and money, chickens and eggs seem to be the best way to find a quick source of animal protein and also business ideas Pakistan, top 10 business ideas Chickens play an important role in solving a food problem.

Few industries have grown so rapidly. Poultry in Pakistan was kept as a business behind the domestic needs. According to 2002-03 figures, poultry production was 372 thousand tons compared to 355 thousand tons in 2001-002, showing an increase of 4.8 percent; egg production was 7,991 million compared to 7,679 million. The sector currently shares about 4.8 percent in the GNP with four million employees and shows

The poultry industry is lamenting the low economic recovery. It is a new business idea in Pakistan and the most profitable business. There is a need to improve productivity and reduce the cost of commercial distribution. Outbreaks of disease, low cost and cost, lack of technology, and trained people add to the problem of manufacturers.

Poultry management system: Good management plays a key role in acquiring poultry farms. Most poultry farmers are interested in all management activities. That is, 82 percent of respondents prefer to feed their own birds, while 94 percent do all administrative work, and 55 percent prefer to vaccinate birds.

There are four types of poultry houses in terms of resources, such as land and capital. These are a free or comprehensive system, a less powerful system, a compact unit, and a powerful system (battery and deep debris). The Powerful Housing System is rampant in the study area due to land scarcity, and no farmer is found to have adopted a battery system to meet these business ideas and the most profitable business.

When day-to-day chicks arrive on commercial farms, they are small and soft. Chicks can live up to 24 hours without food because of the nutrients provided by the yolk, which they absorb before hatching. Its small size means that they have small body scales for long life without being supplied with water. They can get very cold if not given the heat. Lamps, fresh food, and water should be provided immediately to reduce mortality. With the maturation of the birds, their nutritional needs also increase as coal is used in the winter to keep them warm.

Water supply containers and containers should be kept at a high point where these are accessible but safe from contamination. Investment companies often provide these guidelines.

Light and photoperiod are carefully controlled. The birds, on arrival, should be kept in a well-lit room to allow them to receive food and water. After some time, the light intensity should be reduced. The length of daylight is important for the rate of growth and development. The length of the simulated days will encourage the birds to eat more and will grow faster.

The duration of the image is usually limited to slower growth during early growth to avoid bone and leg weakness. Meat-producing birds can be exposed to a longer image length as they reach the end of their production cycle to promote faster weight gain. Most growers use sheds covered on all sides by a grill. They can control the light by covering the grill with jute cloth.

In meat-producing birds, three types of allotments are used; beginner, farmer, and finisher. The selected feed depends on the age of the bird and the stage of production. Each diet is carefully planned to meet the needs of protein, energy, minerals, and vitamins. It is a business idea Pakistan, the most profitable business.

There are three types of feeds, including mash, pellets, and falls. The mash diet is made from whole grains and mixed with other ingredients, including amino acids, minerals, and vitamins. Due to the good texture of the mashed food, birds can eat less, and it can take longer to climb compared to other feeds.

The pellet is a compressed powdered food that forms small pellets that are easy to swallow and eat quickly. These foods are easily eaten by adult birds but can be much larger than younger birds. Decaying food is made up of pellet-containing foods that have been broken into smaller pieces. They are often used on young birds as they are easy to eat.

As the feed is one of the cost factors in producing broilers, so the rate at which the feed is converted into chicken meat is an important means of efficiency. Many factors affect the consumption of feed, temperature, genetic energy, and the adequacy of a healthy diet. In the sample area, farmers use only two types of broiler feed, starter, and grower.

There should always be plenty of water, and day-to-day chicks should be given drinking water with a lower temperature than that of the room in clean containers to check for the spread of disease from birds to birds. Birds drink about two gallons [1 L] per meal per 700F. At each level increase to 750F, they will drink about 4 percent more. The ratio of water supply is 1: 2. But this increases by about 1: 4 or more if the temperature exceeds 950F.

The three main breeds of Huppert, Starbrow, Arbreaker are raised in the learning environment. Farmers are not available to know about this variety as they do not know much about it. However, providers know the species but do not know about the size of such birds.

Flexible costs: Flexible costs in the study include the cost of chicks and their feeding, the cost of electricity, permanent work, vaccination, lemon, and medical costs.

The table shows that the cost incurred was Rs54,080 per 1000 bird and Rs31.67 per kg spent on poultry feed.

The variable cost of 1,000 birds is Rs76,838 in the summer and Rs78,995 in the winter due to the additional cost of coal. The total variable cost per kg live bird is up to Rs45 in summer and Rs46 in winter.

Poultry production varies from farm to farm. It depends on the number of birds, the mortality rate, the quality of the feed, and the number of pure species provided. It is estimated that the total production of a typical 1,000-hectare poultry farm with a mortality rate of 11 percent was approximately 1,709kg. The live weight of a bird is 1,900 grams.

There is a difference in prices in poultry markets and in the western part of the day. Prices for day-old chicks range from Rs12 to Rs19 high in winter. The main reason is that in the winter, the poultry production is very high, and due to the increasing demand for day-old chicks, prices also increase. The harsh summer weather is depressing for raising chickens.

Similarly, the price of poultry birds also varies. The retail price of the producers ranges from Rs38 to Rs54 per kg in the summer and Rs39 to Rs57 per winter. (Table. 2). The average retail price in the summer is Rs.46 / kg, and in the winter, it is up to Rs49 / kg.

The purpose of the study was to evaluate the existing poultry production and marketing system in Sindh. The investigation is based on data collected at Thatta.

The findings indicated that the majority of respondents were literate, and only 20 percent were illiterate. They are knowledgeable and knowledgeable of new and improved technology.

Recommendations: Due to the unavailability of a proper marketing plan, producers face many problems that they want to establish a poultry market. Manufacturers have not been able to adjust the selling price of their products in terms of production costs. It is also evident that as a result of daily price adjustments, they are experiencing problems. It is recommended that the sale price of poultry be adjusted for two weeks or a week.

Lack of funding is also a barrier to promoting the industry. Farmers buy chicks and feed them on credit, which makes it obligatory for them to pay more. They should be provided with institutional credit by ZBTL or other institutions at low-interest rates.

The poultry department should support and guide farmers. When there is an outbreak, these farmers are involved in veterinarians who often provide ineffective and outdated vaccines causing great losses.

It is a common complaint that poultry products available in the market are low. In remote areas, especially in the valleys, appropriate poultry production is scarce.

The department must ensure that medicines are available for poultry. They should provide immunization training to farmers and provide these vaccines at low cost with technical guidance. Well-equipped laboratories are required at the district level.

Organic farming

An exciting study sponsored by the South Asia Network for Development and Environmental Economics reveals that planting native plants has at least as many advantages as the plants fed in artificial inputs despite the low yields in Punjab. It is because of their low installation costs and high premium prices, and it is the business ideas Pakistan, top 10 business ideas, most profitable business Pakistan

Further studies report that live farms tend to maintain better soil fertility and systemic viability than conventional farms.

The importance of agriculture in the Pakistani economy does not need to be overemphasized. It had 20.9pc of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in 2014-15 and is a subsistence source of 43.5pc for rural people. However, farmers are under a lot of pressure as their profits are greatly reduced, which can create food security threats to the country’s 190m population.

Current farming methods in Pakistan rely heavily on the use of chemical fertilizers and highly productive varieties. This has led to a decrease in soil fertility and loss of topsoil, organic matter, and the potential for soil plant production. These problems are particularly important in the wheat rice belt, a bread basket in northern India and Pakistan, covering more than 12 hectares and providing food security for about 500m people. Conventional farming brings little profit due to the continued increase in import costs and fixed market prices for agricultural products (especially large crops such as wheat, rice, and cotton) resulting from government intervention that distorts prices.

Organic farming has the potential to address some of the threats to agricultural stability. It is a well-defined production method that tends to reduce the cost of expensive inputs, such as fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, and medical products, and makes agriculture more environmentally sustainable and economically viable. It avoids nutrient uptake and increases the organic content of the soil.

The soil under the organic system holds and holds more water than the soil under chemical plantings. Integrated biodiversity systems also require additional input from workers. In addition, higher prices can be obtained with a natural certificate. High farm income is possible due to low installation costs and high prices.

This study compares the productivity and profitability of live and conventional farms growing two major crops, wheat, and rice, based on key data collected on farms located in three regions – Gujranwala, Sheikhupura, and Okara of Punjab. Studies show that the installation costs are 20pc and 10pc lower for wheat frames and rice related to their chemical counterparts. The middle farm produced 14pc small wheat and 44pc less rice per hectare in relation to the ‘normal’ farm.

However, natural plants get a higher price tag. The cost ratio is also very high for organic plants compared to ‘normal’ plants. But an interesting question arises: if there is a significant difference in profit, one can expect an en-mass transition from one system to another, which has not been seen. In fact, if the fertilizer subsidy and agricultural pesticides are withdrawn, or the organic subsidy is withdrawn, there may be a change in the agricultural environment as this can reduce the profit balance.

Organic agriculture needs to be promoted as it is a powerful economic and environmental farming. It can ensure the business ideas Pakistan, the top 10 business ideas, the most profitable business Pakistan sustainable use of natural resources: the hard work of organic farmers will also provide more jobs for unskilled domestic workers and save significant foreign investment in chemical fertilizers and pesticides.

Stakeholders point out four natural agricultural problems: first, natural commodity markets are not well developed; second, organic inputs are not readily available to farmers. Pest and weed control, farmers are forced to use mechanical and biological methods that they can access quickly. No sponsorship was available for live products.

Mushroom farming

Now let’s talk about new business ideas in Pakistan, top 10 business ideas, most profitable business Pakistan high, the watery, flower-shaped umbrella is a fruit-bearing umbrella, called a mushroom, with a certain type of plant life, with the exception of the green color (achlorophyllous organisms). Mushrooms survive by decomposing waste with the help of enzymes. These are sometimes called fungal flowers because of their good shape, color, and nutritional value.

Mushrooms produce very small seeds, which serve as a means of reproduction. All mushrooms contain small roots such as the structure (rhizoids) at the base of the stem or stout, especially carrying an umbrella or cap of different colors. It is although new business ideas Pakistan, top 10 business ideas, most profitable business Pakistan The top of the umbrella is rough or smooth, but the top of it has springs (splits) or holes. The seeds are produced in the gills or pores. These seeds produce mycelium in germination, which turns into mushrooms.

Naturally, mushrooms grow in compost heaps and wetlands such as gardens, forests, forests, etc., especially during the rainy season or whenever the environment allows.

Some mushrooms are edible, but some are poisonous. According to Litten (1975), 90 to 95 percent of all deaths in Europe come from mushroom poisoning, which is caused by one type of Amanita, namely Amanita phalloids. Wild mushrooms should not be eaten unless properly identified.

Mushrooms are different and have different names. Some of these are known as crushed mushrooms, pore fungi, tooth fungi, and toadstool. Edible fungi are commonly referred to as mushrooms, and toxins are referred to as fungi.

Food value: The food value of mushrooms varies from species to species. This is considered a source of protein, vitamins, fats, carbohydrates, amino acids, and minerals. According to Rambelli and Myeni (1985), on average, the protein content of mushrooms is twice that of asparagus and potatoes, four times that of tomatoes and carrots, six times that of oranges.

The analysis shows that 53 nitrogen compounds are found in one species of Agaricus bisporus. Volvariella volvacea contains 206.27 mg of vitamin C per 100 mg of fresh fruit. Mushrooms contain thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, biotin, and ascorbic acid; all are essential for human health. The most common oils are found in different mushrooms. Carbohydrate content varies from 3 to 28 percent. The mineral content is higher than that of meat and fish and almost twice that of the most widely used vegetables.

Value of treatment: A mixture of mushrooms have been used for thousands of years. The carbohydrate level in mushrooms is very low, so this is highly recommended for patients with diabetes and anemic, due to its high folic acid content. Some mushrooms contain antibiotics, while others are resistant to the virus.

Other uses: Some mushrooms are mycorrhizal, used to improve soil fertility, regeneration, and introduction of exotic plants, some are used as bio-control agents.

Edible mushrooms: There are thousands of varieties of mushrooms worldwide, of which 2,500 are edible, and only 20 are popular. White buttoned mushrooms or crimini or portabella or portobello mushroom (Agaricus bisporus), have a market value. The people of Sindh, most of whom are in the desert and mountains (Thar and Kohistan), are familiar with the desert mushroom, popularly known as Khumbhi. People in the hilly areas of Kashmir, NWFP, and Punjab are familiar with black morels. White mushrooms found in the area of Khamiri are also eaten by the people of Balochistan, Sindh, and Punjab.

Cultivation: Mushrooms are independent of sunlight. Mushrooms absorb oxygen and release carbon dioxide. Different artificially planted mushrooms require different temperatures, humidity, light, and low humidity. In fact, mushrooms are one of the most difficult things to grow. Much work is needed to produce a consistent, high-quality harvest.

Exemplary mushroom house: Mushrooms can be grown annually in full commercial ventures, provided the right conditions for growth and adequate resources are available. Such conditions can be fulfilled on a growing shelf, with the construction of well-ventilated mushroom houses. Alternatively, when the environment is favorable, it can be cultivated in greenhouses and other suitable places.

Model mushroom house: A model mushroom house should have a storage room, a laundry room, preparation for breeding grounds and breeding rooms, a playroom, a planting room, and a packing and storage room.

Basic growth requirement: The heating and cooling system can control the temperature according to each requirement. Many species of mushrooms thrive in the humidity of 80-95 percent that can be arranged with the help of a cool desert area or spray water near mushroom beds.

Most mushrooms do not need normal light and grow well in normal, natural light. Indirect sunlight / fluorescent light 5 to 10 meters away is enough. However, normal light is required in the case of oyster mushroom.

Mushroom culture and reproduction: The propagating material used to grow mushrooms is called spawn. It is about the size of seedlings made from the seeds of high plants, such as vegetables. In fact, the seeds (which act as sowing seeds) of mushrooms are very small and invisible to the naked eye; therefore, a mushroom grower cannot handle them. The technician can inject sterile cereal grains or pure mycelial mushroom culture and incubate that until a viable product is available.

Growth method: A variety of agricultural and industrial mushroom farming applications are used. In particular, wheat, paddy, barley, oat, and gram straw, bananas, sugarcane, and maize leaves, etc. can be used as a substrate (medium) for farming.

Mushroom harvesting: Mushrooms are harvested by hand picking for six to ten weeks. In the case of oyster mushroom, harvesting can be done with the help of a sharp knife or blade at the bottom of the station (stem or stem), but the stem should not be cut off from the bed. If there are many pinheads around the mushrooms, cut the mushroom very carefully, so that the proximity of the pins is not disturbed.

Any hard part of the mushrooms left in the bed should be removed; otherwise, it will keep flies and other insects out. Any ripe mushrooms and any harvest or disease should also be removed from each harvest. All poles and garbage should be removed from the house and destroyed to reduce the risk of developing diseases and pests. Polyethylene bags, trays, or beds should be completely empty to complete the harvest, and the entire growing area should be steamed before a new harvest can begin.

Harvest: The mushrooms that produce the next cycle and outbreak can be harvested until the waste is converted into mushrooms or contaminated or attacked by pests or diseases. Approximately, mushrooms produce about 100 percent of the weight of the substrate.

Marketing: Only certain types of edible wild mushrooms e.g., black morels, desert mushrooms, and button mushrooms are collected, donated, sold, and eaten by locals. These, along with other artificially planted mushrooms, can be sold in the domestic and foreign markets. The amount of marketing or imports and exports can be obtained from the reports of the Export Promotion Bureau.

Physical problems: The premature opening of the pileus (or cap) occurs due to high temperatures or high concentrations of carbon dioxide in the mushroom growing room (or area). High temperatures also favor the development of fungi and bacteria, which quickly kill reproduction or the whole crop. If the temperature is too low, reproductive growth, birth control, and other growth stages will be disrupted due to delays or confinement.

Mushrooms are susceptible to many pests, nematodes, fungi, pathogens and pathogens; therefore, slight negligence at various stages during mushroom planting can be detrimental. Some pests and diseases cause damage to the reproductive system and lead to reduced yields.

Integrated pest and disease management: All pests and diseases can be controlled through the following methods: strict control of physical or environmental conditions; substrate or compost and soil size should be free of ammonia and all sources of pests and diseases; disinfection substrate or compost, doors, floors, walls, respirators, all appliances, and heating room growing at 70 degrees C 12 hours before or after each harvest; disposal of contaminants and the use of recommended chemicals, after identifying pests or diseases; where mushrooms are grown at the door, doors and other openings should be proven to be resistant to pests and diseases.

Graphic designing

The majority of Pakistanis under the age of 35 (90per cent) choose to work independently – above the global average of 70pc, according to a report released by digital payer Payoneer.

The ‘Freelancer Income Report 2020’ is based on a study of more than 7,000 freelancers from 150 countries, including emerging markets such as Pakistan it shows that the new business ideas Pakistan, top 10 business ideas, most profitable business Pakistan

Payoneer says most people (75pc) are moving completely independently due to financial satisfaction.

Freelancing’s popularity stems from its ability to find great job opportunities, self-sufficiency, high incomes, and promising mobility towards directing equity.

Men and women in Pakistan have chosen web design and graphics as the most popular self-help camp.

When it comes to advertising on social media, independent Pakistani workers rely heavily on Facebook and LinkedIn. However, according to Payoneer, by 2020, ads on Facebook have dropped from years ago, with LinkedIn rising by 1pc from 2018.

Data has shown that despite the growing number of co-operatives in the country, 81pc Pakistani freelancers choose to work from home.

The Pioneer report states that the private sector provides unparalleled growth opportunities.

“Pakistan has always been one of the top five independent markets in the world. Now is the time for our small and medium enterprises (SMBs) to grow beyond the borders and drive the technology economy in Pakistan, “Payoneer country manager Mohsin Muzzafer told Dawn.

“A lot of people now consider freelancing as a full-time job instead of a temporary gig, which is a big change for the better. This also means that our country is developed and has a great impact on digital Pakistan, “he added.

Global situation

The report said the gig economy – backed by social media, global markets, and online payment platforms – equipped global workers with all the tools needed to plan their career, using an independent lifestyle to build a full-time job, a “busy side” or emerge expand their employment after retirement.

“The self-employed economy has grown significantly over the past decade, and I believe we can now say with certainty that the future of employment has come. Obstacles have been removed that can reduce or hinder the ability of freelancers to grow, connect and be successful, “said Scott Galit, CEO of Payoneer.

“Independent practitioners from all walks of life and all parts of the world have been empowered to find employment, set their own wage, market their skills, and take the lead when and how.”

The report emphasized that the number of private-sector workers was very small, with about 70pc of independent workers being assessed as under 35 years of age and 21pc under 25 years of age. , compared to North America, where the figure was high but close to 47pc.

While freelancers realized the importance of freedom and flexibility in being their employer, happiness was very much in line with earnings. The average hourly rate charged by freelancers was $ 21, higher than the $ 19 payout reported in the 2018 Pioneer Survey, and much higher than the average salary in most of the countries surveyed so it is also business ideas Pakistan, top 10 business ideas, most profitable business Pakistan.

Closing the gender gap

One of the most promising findings in the report was that the participation of women in the private sector was rising sharply and that the average wage for women was disrepair beyond the limits of senior employees. Women freelancers earn an average of 84pc of wages for men in all sectors, and while there is room for improvement, the gap is much smaller than the 64pc average for all workers reported by the World Economic Forum.

However, there are nuances that apply to a particular field, and the fields were located where the gender gap was always articulated, including the financial and project management fields. That means women have gained more than men in marketing and web and graphic design.

“Freelancing is gaining momentum around the world, driven by the rising generation of the world’s growing generation,” said Eyal Moldovan, Pioneer General Manager. “Millennials and Gen Z aspire to independence and wider, new opportunities with whipping 54pc in developed countries starting or planning to start their own businesses.

Food truck

Food trucks are the new attraction of foods because it reminds them of their childhood. Not only do they get excited, but they also raise money and bring the food truck back into a trend while dining with a whole bunch of friends. If you understand the mentality of the people, the food they bought from their trucks and trains as a child was cheap and gave them a memorable expense. If you want your food truck to be successful, do not forget these expectations of the people. it is also business ideas Pakistan, top 10 business ideas, most profitable business Pakistan.

However, these food trucks also offer low investment and benefits to those entering the restaurant industry – competing with the big fancy restaurants in the market and making some profit. Making a profit while providing affordable food with exceptional quality and experience is a very difficult business. It is important for food trucks to invest in a good POS system that helps them track all activities and manage profits. Now, what is the definition of a good POS for a food truck?

In general, you need a restaurant POS with some important features to be good for your food truck business. What are these features? In addition to sales, accounts, and inventory management, good POS solutions for food trucks should also be provided:

Payment is good management for accepting and recording multiple payment types.

If you can not accept any payment other than cash, you are in big trouble, friend! Most people prefer to pay by debit/credit card, online, and so on, but if you refuse to accept a variety of payments, you will lose a potential customer by rushing towards a traditional restaurant.

And if you maintain separate journals for each type of payment or your system is unable to sort these payment types in sales and accounting management, you will be discontinued. How do you serve your hungry customer if you are busy recording your payments? Therefore, it is important that your POS solution is capable of accepting a variety of payments and recording them accordingly without the need for your manual efforts.

Most importantly, your restaurant’s computer software should not rely solely on the Internet (WiFi) because it is difficult to maintain Internet stability. And how do you benefit if it is a customer for you? Remember! Every customer is important to you and demands good quality food, high efficiency, and an exceptional experience from you.

Order tickets for The Cook

It is difficult for the receptionist on the truck to leave their place and repeatedly go to the kitchen to inform the order details for cooking. What if the customer changes to order after they have forwarded it to you for cooking? Do you go back and repeat the whole process? What about the next hungry customer? Do you think he would rather return to you than go to a restaurant and get the waiter to get his order?

One solution to all these problems is the order ticketing facility in your restaurant POS, which informs the cook directly about the orders in their system. In addition to making operations quick and easy, the facility is also guaranteed to provide food that is strictly customized to order.

Performing multiple commands at once

Your restaurant POS should not have limited order recordings but can process multiple orders at once. But how does it make you effective? For example, two customers ordered fries, and you quickly placed two orders with the cook. Cooks make this process easier and less time consuming to prepare two orders at once.

Therefore, let your hungry customers wait in line and give them a chance to change their minds!

Using different resources to make split orders or payments

Why not compare food trucks with traditional restaurants or places to eat? Do you know why people love their outdoor environment and do not demand an air-conditioned and well-organized environment? This is because they like the informal and easy eating experience. Therefore you should consider the fact that you will meet a number of customers who are much less than cash. In this case, a good food truck POS solution allows customers to split one side of the fries and enjoy a meal with their limited budget.

Another example is when you ask a customer to accept payment by a different method for an order you have made. Providing this level of flexibility is the only way to survive in the market! So, make sure that your food truck has restaurant computer software that accepts payment for a single order from different vendors.

Perform all tasks in the limited space of food trucks

Working in a truck is already a challenge; therefore; You should choose a POS system that saves space without compromising any important and standard features. But how? Instead of filling your customers’ counters with wires, printers, or other equipment; You need to invest everything in a POS system with integrated hardware.

Having these features in your food truck POS will definitely help you in providing the desired experience to the customers. Have you analyzed whether the limit of hiring limited staff due to space can be effectively overcome through good POS? Therefore, investing properly in POS can save you millions of dollars and give your customer the most extraordinary experience. But don’t forget, food is the main attraction of consumers, and you can’t risk the quality of your food. This is because good POS will not help you maintain the quality of your food, even if it does not meet your customer expectations but it is business ideas Pakistan, top 10 business ideas, most profitable business Pakistan.

Fish farming

Sixty-six percent of Pakistan’s population is protein deficient. The per capita requirement of protein is 102.7 grams per day, available somewhere in the range of 69.71 grams. The main sources of animal protein are beef, mutton, poultry, eggs, and fish. There is a shortage of food of animal origin. Per capita meat availability in Pakistan is 14.8 kg per year – far below the dietary standards recommended by international food organizations.

According to a joint team of FAO experts, protein intake in adults should not be less than one gram per kilogram of body weight. People from lower-income groups suffer from poor health and poor health. People’s diet and nutrition need attention to overcome this shortcoming. The development of livestock and poultry and fishermen is an important factor because its protein is considered the best for health and business ideas Pakistan, the top 10 business ideas, most profitable business Pakistan. It helps in combating many diseases.

Fisheries play an important role in the livelihood of coastal residents and it is also business ideas Pakistan, the top 10 business ideas, most profitable business Pakistan. In addition to marine fish, inland rivers, lakes, ponds, and dams are also good sources of animal protein.

Exports of fish and its products in July-March 2003-04 stood at 1,01,256 metric tonnes, valued at 7.9 billion. Total fish production is 6,30,000 metric tons, marine sector share is 4,52,000 and inland 1,78,000 metric tons. The number of people engaged in 2003-04 was 3,95,000 compared to 3,65,000 in 2002-04. Approximately 1,25,000 or 31.6 per cent are engaged in the marine zone, 2,70,000 68.4 per cent inland.

The area has great potential as a profitable business. The NWFP and the northern region of Punjab, where groundwater is fresh, play an important role in fisheries development. However, barren and saline areas can also be used for this purpose. There are species that can live in saltwater.

In South Punjab and Sindh, groundwater can bring saline areas into saline fish farms. It will improve the economic condition of the agrarian community by introducing large scale practices in the marginal/saline areas. It will create employment by attracting more people in rural areas.

Most fish farms are small, with two acres or less. Illiteracy is another obstacle to implementing modern production technology. Farmers mostly use tubewells to fill their fields using canal water.

According to the park, the average fish production is 15.4 mand per acre, and the selling price is Rs 2,215 per mand. Farmers who market their produce make the most profit by shrinking their ponds. The production of such a farm is Rs. 21,475, with a total revenue of Rs. 6,628, net profit Rs. 12,153. While this benefit is in saline areas, the margin in good land and water conditions is Rs. 25,000, which is more profitable.

Farmers face problems in production and marketing. Profitability can be increased by providing incentives. They do not have many financial resources because they do not have credit facilities, especially those who rent the farm, as well as the high cost of digging the Pond and cash for water, seeds, and fodder. Requirements Credit on easy terms of availability. A major factor in promoting fish farming. There is a need to initiate a supervised loan program for the establishment of ponds. Interest rates may fall in the early stages of development. Government salt / barren land can be leased to fishermen at a lower rate.

Water is the main cost of production. Drain water and tube well water are very expensive. Can provide canal water to farmers or subsidize electricity to run tube wells to fill fish ponds, which will boost business.

Research and guidance are needed to accelerate development. Farmers usually use traditional fodder, such as farm manure, poultry, fodder, and uncooked bread. Only a small number of farmers use urea, DAP, nitro phosphate, SSP, ammonium sulfate, corn gluten, rice us, soil, lime powder, and gypsum, which are good for increasing fish populations. The venture is still in its infancy.

Quality seed is not available to the majority, especially small ones. The seed is of poor quality, resulting in a low growth, low weight, low yield, and low prices. There is no research on the development of fast-growing and high-yielding species. It is an important requirement to supply good quality seeds at affordable prices and at the right time. Small farmers find it very difficult to produce their own seeds, so there is a need to ensure quality seeds through standard length supply, genetically improved, and public hatchery.

An effective extension program acts as a bridge between research and field applications. There is a need to introduce a well-equipped expansion service program to eliminate farmers’ hesitation in starting a business and to introduce better production technology in existing farms. A qualified and well-trained staff can be hired to promote and provide guidelines. To make extension services more efficient, field staff can be mobile. Training programs can be conducted to spread technology to fish farmers.

Marketing problems are rare compared to other agricultural products. These are mostly related to small farmers. They get a lower price for their products because they have less market information, and commission agents exploit them. Many small farmers pay their produce to pre-harvest contractors at low prices.

Digital marketing

To understand the impact made by ‘smart’ gadgets and the internet around the world, one has to look at the technology that was not available 15-20 years ago but is very popular among many people today. For example, if you were posting a job advertisement for ‘Social Media Manager’ or ‘Digital Marketer’ back in 2000, you are more likely to get zero or very little feedback, if so. And, in the beginning, why would you consider putting such an ad?

The advent of technology meant that the world was suddenly connected. You no longer need expensive calling cards to make local or international calls. With a few taps on the phone, you were able to send free text messages and make calls using mobile apps like WhatsApp and Viber, etc. And with more and more people signing up for various social media platforms, businesses think it’s a golden opportunity to throw their products at people without risking much.

In short, the way we advertise has changed from traditional to digital without people noticing. Companies that would need hundreds of door-to-door retailers to sell their products now looked at fewer people who could set up a digital line for them, thus reducing costs and increasing the footprint – or eyeballs – thus giving birth to a completely new field called ‘digital marketing which is business ideas Pakistan, top 10 business ideas, most profitable business Pakistan.

Pakistani students have no way of doing digital marketing like degree courses because no university offers such degrees. This is despite the country’s most famous occupation.

Pakistan, like any other country, also seized the opportunity and became the hundreds of thousands of ‘Creative Agencies’ – in contrast to the ‘advertising agencies’ – who claimed to be experts in providing digital services. Unexpected growth in such companies has meant that more people from all walks of life have made the wise decision to change their jobs. Why? Because digital marketing has made good money. But did most of them have professional qualifications called ‘digital advertisers’? No.

One wonders why, despite being popular in the country, digital marketing is not offered as a degree course in Pakistani universities. According to Muhammad Saleem Ahrar, Associate Vice President of Marketing at Gaditek, there is a lack of awareness between individuals and universities about the work required.

“There is very little awareness about digital advertising in our society because parents do not know what it is. And since they do not know anything, they do not encourage their children to enter the profession, “said Saleem. He points out that this is unaware of the fact that the majority of students act on what their parents or guardians say, not doing their own research.

“When I was looking for higher education, a family friend suggested that I do a BSc. Someone recommended that I do CA. I said ‘no’ to both of them because I knew I wouldn’t be able to do either of them, “he recalls.

According to Saleem, students are now pursuing higher education with the intention of getting a job and not teaching themselves what leads to less productivity. “The problem is much deeper than you think. “People know how to use expensive cell phones, but they deliberately choose to stay indifferent and that they can earn good money through social media such as Facebook and Youtube,” he added.

He points out that people use TikTok, a social networking service, to their advantage and earn about $ 35,000 in a 60-second clip, and Pakistanis use it extensively to show off their ‘dance’ skills.

“Improper counseling is another factor hindering the growth of education in this field in Pakistan. If fortunately, someone learns a skill or two, he or she will immediately start selling it to students for as little as Rs.5000, “he said.

Saleem, who is also a student in education, admits that university applications are much more powerful than one might think. “‘Traditional advertisers’ are often reluctant to accept digital marketing as a real field. “I have tried to incorporate the concept of teaching digital marketing as an option for more than three universities, and they all reject the proposal,” he said.

Saleem was told by the relevant authorities that students would not be interested in taking the course. This was an opinion that the managers involved were not even considering testing with their students. He believes that this reluctance of universities is a direct result of the misconceptions of digital marketing that has taken place in Pakistan. “People, for some reason, believe that digital marketing is limited to Facebook advertising. No, it’s too big, too big! There are ‘Creative Agencies’ working here on the same model to bring leads from Facebook only and call it digital marketing, “he said.

Every month 12,000 people search for the term ‘digital marketing’ in Pakistan. And, as Saleem points out, the integration of various forums with the effects of digital advertising on highly refined content for users. “Explore as much as you can because digital marketing, in contrast to what many believe, is a huge field. If you know the ins and outs of your skills, you will not be exploited by digital marketing agencies, “he advised.

Syed Rahim, Agile Manager at the same company as Saleem, believes the problem lies on both sides but insists that the biological system should be blamed under the product. “When you talk about the ecosystem, the people who make up the curriculum do not have the right expression. For example, overseas students are often given complex tasks, such as finding out what went wrong with Facebook servers while on a global break, “said Ali.

He agrees with Saleem and says students have no knowledge when it comes to digital advertising. “Unfortunately, our students have no reading ability at all. They would rather watch Netflix for many hours than learn things that will help them improve their careers, “added Ali. He believes there is no progress in digital scholars because students do not challenge their teachers by asking them tricky questions.

Ali is of the view that even if Pakistani universities offer digital marketing degrees, it would be of no use to students if it does not keep pace with current and changing industry trends.

Usman Ahmed Khan, Joint Community Manager at Nanosoft Technologies, notes that digital marketing is offered as a course at many UK universities. “Universities charge more than £ 24,000 in the UK. Students actually pay good money, which speaks volumes about its demand, “said Usman.

He would not have been distracted, he says, if he had been given the opportunity to get a degree in digital marketing back in the day. Unfortunately, for many aspiring digital advertisers who have graduated in other fields, there is nothing that can be done now without having the hope that a well-thought-out curriculum will be developed and implemented soon.

The older generation will also have to know that the world is no longer surrounded by doctors and engineers. “It’s not a crime for anyone, but that’s the truth.” Perhaps, it will take Pakistan one generation before the real change in perspective.

Solar system

The SBP has said it has improved the scope of its spending plan by allowing subsidies under category III to solar and wind power companies.

The bank said the size of the project set up by the retailer or power company has now been upgraded from 1MW to 5MW.

“The revenue limit has also increased from Rs1bn to Rs2bn,” he said, adding that the decision was based on feedback from stakeholders which makes it also business ideas Pakistan, top 10 business ideas, most profitable business Pakistan.

SBP’s Energy Renewable financial plan was announced in June 2016 with the aim of helping to address the power shortages and climate change in the country.

The system was initially divided into two phases, with the first phase allowing funding for renewable energy projects with capacity ranging from 1-50MW for their own use or sale on a national grid or a combination of both.

The second phase allowed subsidies for domestic, agricultural, commercial, and industrial lenders for the installation of renewable projects from 1MW to generate electricity for their own use or to sell to a grid or distribution company under the meter.

Later, in July 2019, SBP introduced phase III to facilitate funding for suppliers and suppliers for up to 1MW solar installations and solar systems. SBP also launched a compliance program in August 2019.

“Since the launch of this program, the total balance under this program has reached Rs5.6bn for 217 projects with the potential to add 292MW of power supply,” said SBP.

A retailer or power company may invest more than 5MW of basic renewable projects per single end owner provided that any two or more projects of the same last owner should not be overstated.

In addition to the leasing of renewable energy equipment and the sale of electricity, certified retailers or suppliers will also be allowed to include air and solar projects in a paid sale or lease sale, with terms of payment in the form of regular installments or regular rental payments from last owners.

“This review of the plan is expected to not only attract new domestic and international investment in the sector but will also help generate clean electricity in the country, which will help manage climate change,” SBP said.

IMPROVEMENT of solar panels in Pakistan by the World Bank and the Alternate Energy Development Board is a step in the right direction. However, what is the chance of this having a major impact on Pakistan’s solar system and renewable energy?

Solar energy has been making headlines around the world for the past few years. Between 2005 and 2010, the global solar photovoltaic (PV) power plant, also called solar cells, grew from 5GW to 227GW. Since 1977, the price of PV has dropped from $ 76 / watt to $ 0.03 / watt. This remarkable success is due to a number of factors, most importantly, appropriate policies, technological advances, and a level economy. Solar PV is now financially competitive with conventional power generation methods. Dubai is currently developing an 800MW PV project with a power purchase agreement signed for less than three US cents per kW hour.

Solar radiation, or sunlight, is a source of fuel for solar energy systems. Accurate evaluation and analysis of this service are essential to achieving the expected performance. However, there are other important parameters that also need to be considered to predict and evaluate system performance, and this is often where mistakes are made.

Layman’s view is that hot weather is best done with solar PV. Here we have two distinct but complementary parameters – sunlight and heat. These are two opposites in terms of their effect on solar cell function. The output from solar cells is directly proportional to the amount of sunlight, while negatively affecting the temperature. And it depends largely on the clarity of the atmosphere. Factors such as atmospheric dust, soil pollution, humidity, and wind speed affect the effect. Careful selection of the solar system site, especially in the case of large projects, is therefore important; any failure to assess solar resources and other appropriate weather parameters can have a significant impact on project performance.

While renewable energy makes a significant contribution to the energy and environment of many countries in both developed and developing countries, Pakistan has slowed down in spending. Even some South Asian countries have made great strides in renewable energy.

For example, while India is one of the world’s richest countries in terms of solar and wind power, Bangladesh has more than two million programs included in the residential sector alone. At a minimum, there have been extensive business models dealing with technologies such as home solar systems, solar systems, biogas plants, and advanced cooking stoves. This achievement was encouraged by strong public and private sector support and institutional development.

In recent years, solar systems have gained some acceptance in the domestic and commercial sectors. In addition to the development of renewable energy policy and tax exemptions for solar PVs, there have been a number of public sector initiatives, mainly undertaken by Quaid-i-Azam Solar Park. However, their effectiveness, especially in terms of business, estimated electricity costs, and sustainability, is unclear. The end of the solar street lights, for example, was disappointing, with most of them not working properly in the first year of installation.

Pakistan is seen as a major solar power plant, and newly developed maps can provide a better understanding of the resource base. Apart from solar PV, there is a wide range of solar water heating and thermal power generation. By addressing reliable energy shortages and relying on oil and imported gas to meet national energy needs, solar energy as a traditional resource can go a long way in addressing this energy insecurity. However, there is a need for a coherent and strategic approach in the form of supportive policies, new business models, domestic financial and technical partnerships – and inspiration.

Solar systems have strengths and weaknesses. Each stage of development – from feasibility studies to program design, equipment selection, installation, and maintenance – should be used to deliver value-added projects. Solar systems are changing rapidly, i.e., new and more efficient cell types and storage solutions are being developed – and one has to look at them to build bigger solutions. Whatever the project, it should be based on a solid business case. Given the fact that the  majority of Pakistani people do not have access to the national grid, it would be a better way to focus on the small and medium generation and distributed projects. This will help avoid burdening the already fragile T&D network, preventing losses and electrifying remote communities.

Online tuition

TRAINING CENTERS have emerged as one of the most lucrative businesses in the country. The education industry’s profits are huge because it requires less investment, the demand is much higher, and above all, there is no tax.

In short, this business is free for everyone. Dr. Kaiser Bengali, an economist, estimated in 2014 that some educators earn about Rs1 million a month and pay no tax on that amount, while a recent independent survey estimates that higher education institutions earn about Rs10m a month and teachers Rs2 million for teaching at various training institutions.

An effective strategy that training institutions have used to improve their popularity is branding. Similarly, cities are flooded with well-known brands focusing on various science subjects and many relevant experiments.

What used to be considered a lucrative business is now a major source of income. Training institutions are the product of parents’ overly concerned about improving their children’s academic grades.

The dramatic increase in the number of training institutions follows the basic principle of demand and supply. However, no reliable data on the number of training institutions or their deterioration in location is available, making it difficult to control the sector.

In India, if a training center operates as a center, it has to obtain a trading license and pay taxes on its revenue. If the income exceeds Rs0.9 million a year, it is compulsory to register the business and pay the service tax within 30 days.

In Bangladesh, The Education Act 2016 sought to ban training institutions and private courses. The government has also released its “Policy 2012” intending to curb the coaching industry. Teachers can provide homework for about ten non-affiliated students; again, only after the teacher’s and students’ school agreed to it.

Similarly, in Pakistan, there is a need to decide how to open educational institutions. The Department of Education must appoint a body to oversee the financial structure of educational institutions. The growing growth of training institutions is not the only problem in Pakistan.

According to a report entitled “Shadow Education” by Mark Bray and Chad Lykins, shadow education programs, named because they mimic school programs, are growing uncontrollably throughout Asia.

It adds, “Homes in some countries are spending an astonishing portion of their income on shadow education … In many countries in the region, including some with high school programs, shadow education seems to be a permanent feature.”

This teaching can contribute to student achievement, but it also maintains and exacerbates social inequality, transfers resources to other uses, and can contribute to education systems’ inefficiency.

Moreover, unfortunately, training centers are not information transfer centers, but they teach stores that take education as a business. However, shadow education programs can be controlled, and effective measures can reduce some problems before they arise.

The Department of Education must prepare appropriate laws and regulations to monitor their activities and put them under the tax net. Training institutions that provide training without following any government regulations make money and are also involved in many processes.

In the past, there have been reports of private trainers’ involvement in systematic fraud across the country, where institutions have been charging exorbitant fees to encourage cheating by leaking pre-test exam papers.

Coffee business

Ten years ago, one can safely say that coffee culture has flourished and emerged in Pakistan’s major cities. It would also not be wrong for Espresso to have much to do with this.

The Espresso story began in 2003, when two brothers, Alii (Director and CEO) and Irfan  (Director), ran a digital printing business called Horizon Graphics (still in operation today). , were told by the Head of Marketing, Mr. Khan (now head of Rowtisserie), that he had attended a meeting to discuss opportunities to establish a coffee shop in Karachi.

The brothers simply adopted this idea since they had always had a desire to start a food business. The three spent a year looking for a place in their coffee shops and eventually chose in Zamzama, which at the time was a quiet place. And so it was in 2004, the first Espresso branch opened there.

While the program’s response was promising, the group realized that because Pakistanis are tea-drinkers, the menu (which includes sandwiches and appetizers) would need to be expanded to attract crowds. They added fast food; it was their success that in 18 months, they opened their second branch in Khayaban-e-Shahbaz and opened a third at The Forum in 2007.

Meanwhile, when it was reported that the coffee culture was right and true drink (at least in Karachi), a collection of other coffee shops emerged, including Café Coffee Day, Ciao, Costa, and Lattétude. They all ended up closed, followed by many others, many of which still), located on the same route as the Espresso branch of Zamzama.

From the brothers’ point of view, Espresso was successful, despite the competition, because they had a successful business in Pakistan, and this provided both support and experience in terms of procurement and personnel management. Moreover, when they founded Espresso, they had a business plan.

“We wanted to continue to develop and expand, and not be a sign that would explode,” Ali said.

Another feature that gave them the edge was the emphasis they placed on setting up an experienced team – this included using Khan’s expertise in the food business (he had previously worked for Nando and TGIF).

In 2011, relations with Khan melted away, but by then, Espresso had opened a Lahore branch, and rapid growth was taking place in Karachi.

However, not everything was smooth sailing. Along the way, many shops were closed or relocated. One of them was at The Place, which didn’t work mainly because the mall didn’t bring the expected footing.

“Our strategy now is to stay away from supermarkets – although our Dolmen Mall branch is a success – because they usually do not attract more people to restaurants,” said Irfan.

He points out that the Espresso branch at The Forum was closed recently because the group felt the mall was losing many customers.

“We saw that a lot of offices and business people were leaving The Forum, and even though our store was doing well, we didn’t want to have feelings and decided it was best to close before the business started to deteriorate.”

During the expansion, the composition of Espresso customers has varied. In previous years, most enthusiasts were young professionals. Many families are now coming in, and the number of customers had grown from about 100 a day (when Espresso had one branch) to almost 2,500 in seven stores (four in Karachi and three in Lahore). Besides, coffee may not be a favorite beverage for all customers; but consumption has increased dramatically. In 2011, Espresso consumed about 150,000 kilos of coffee beans; today, they use about 250,000 kilos a month.

One thing that has changed is the way Espresso advertises itself. In the early years, they relied on word of mouth, and they began advertising for a few magazines. Today, advertising is limited to Facebook, where the promotional style creates timely and engaging content – and sometimes controversial. (This distinguishes some restaurants from fine restaurants, which post food photos.)

The idea of this post, says Ahsan , Owner of Barely Average Design (who owns an Espresso account), came up with some insight.

“People came to Espresso to talk … and we thought: let’s talk to our customers about the things they come to Espresso to talk about. Our aim is humor, wisdom, and understanding; however, there must be some depth, and there is a level of research that is important to us. Espresso is a symbol of desire; it’s not expensive to slip there, and we want our customers to see this product as their peers. “

Although it was first opened in 2004, many things have changed along the way; several remain unchanged and continue to contribute to the success of Espresso. Firstly, the emphasis on customer service, as reflected by the tag line ‘Feels Like Home’ Shami says, “is beyond the tag line – it serves as a staff statement and reminds them to welcome and encourage people to stay as long as they want.”

Second, attention to coffee quality. According to Ali, “we use the same coffee beans as other places. The difference is with our baristas – the training and knowledge they have about what it is like to make a good cup of coffee. “The same emphasis on quality is placed on food, and customer feedback is taken seriously. It is really good business ideas Pakistan, top 10 business ideas, most profitable business Pakistan.

What was recently done was establishing an indoor bakery and hiring a chef so that most of their desserts were made on their premises rather than taken out.
